My love for the game of golf started right here at the Davis Golf Course and has grown into my career. From a junior golfer to a competitive tournament player, my skills as an instructor have been molded by my playing experiences as a well as my golf education. As a Class A PGA Head Professional that is certified in both player development and teaching & coaching, my true passion is helping individuals advance their golf game and reach their full potential.

I pride myself on being at the forefront of golf instruction by keeping up with the newest advancements in swing theory and golf fitness. Along with my PGA education, I am a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified golf mechanic, TPI certified junior instructor, and Swing Catalyst certified professional. I am also a U.S. Kids Golf certified instructor and a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance.

Gary Lipelt, PGA Certified Professional, has spent over 40 years developing golfers at every level—from beginners discovering the game to elite juniors and collegiate athletes refining their competitive edge. His students have earned club and regional titles, qualified for USGA championships, played Division I golf, joined the PGA ranks, and played PGA Tour events.

Gary combines cutting-edge technology with time-tested fundamentals and a teaching approach shaped by decades of dedicated study. The result: lessons that are both highly effective and genuinely enjoyable.

He offers limited availability for private instruction and comprehensive player development programs for adults and juniors ages 9 and up.
